Learning tech skills at the Stride Center.
Richard was on parole when he enrolled in a training program at the Stride Center. He was not able to provide for his family of six and came to Stride for a new beginning. “It never occurred to me that I could have a career in anything at all,” said Richard. “Now, I make a good living, my family is proud of me, and I can see a positive future.” Richard is now a full-time technician with AT&T.
He is one of 2,300 students the Stride Center will train this year. The Stride Center provides pathways towards economic self-sufficiency for individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area through an award-winning training program that prepares students for careers in the information technology field.
